As Team Leader at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in ensuring that every component is perfectly installed in our latest, sixth-generation energy modules — helping to enable greater range and significantly reduce charging times for our Neue Klasse models.

What awaits you?

  • Work environment -A highly automated production line equipped with robots, where numerous new technologies are implemented. Our team is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the robots to ensure the required level of quality.
  • Team –as the group leader of a production team of 6–9 members, you support your team in executing the tasks of the Energy Module and step in to take over tasks if necessary. You ensure the training and mentoring of your team members.
  • Production Supervision – You are responsible for ensuring that production within your area of responsibility is carried out properly and meets quality standards, achieving the set targets.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving – you are accountable for the continuous and smooth operation of production. In collaboration with your team, you ensure the prompt and effective resolution of emerging issues and obstacles to production.
  • Shift Planning – you ensure that your team is staffed with the necessary number of employees to enable efficient production.
  • Process Improvement Support – you initiate improvement processes involving your team and oversee their implementation.

What should you bring along?

  • Educational Background - at least a secondary school diploma, preferably technical degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical, or other related field of study.
  • Work Experience - you have gained at least 3 years of professional experience in leading teams in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Language skills -native-level Hungarian required.
  • Quality Control - familiarity with process and quality optimization tools.
  • Precision & Teamwork - ability to work and communicate effectively in a team, with a strong commitment to continuous self-development. Excellent communication skills.
  • Work schedule - willingness to work in shifts.
