Team Lead Technical Service to Mediplast

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead Technical Service to drive our service team towards achieving unified goals. As a Team Lead for our Technical Service department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient service, repair, and installation of our medical equipment across the Nordic market. We provide comprehensive internal training in the product areas you will service and install. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and managing the service operations, including processes and routines, service agreements, and the commercial development of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Operations Development: Develop and manage service operations, including processes, routines, service agreements, and commercial growth.
  • Service Agreements and Sales: Coordinate and follow up on service agreements manage warranty matters, and handle technical documentation.
  • Asset management: Oversee and coordinate technical demo equipment to ensure top-tier service for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • System Implementation: Take the lead on implementing a new service system, enhancing our operational efficiency.
  • Service and Repair: Perform service, repair, and installation of medical equipment at customer sites throughout the Nordic region.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide hands-on solutions to complex technical issues, ensuring high standards of service.
  • Customer Interaction: Conduct needs analyses in collaboration with customers to develop both short-term and long-term plans.

About You

You are a technically skilled professional, ideally with a background in medical technology, medical engineering or significant relevant experience. Electrical qualifications are advantageous. You thrive in a hands-on role, solving technical challenges and building long-term customer relationships. Your social skills and ability to inspire confidence are key to your success. Additionally, you are commercially driven, with a keen eye for identifying opportunities to enhance service offerings and drive business growth. You should also be experienced in running projects, preferably in implementing new systems, which require sharp organizing skills, ability to coordinate with several stakeholders and diligent follow-up.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience from a technical role within the MedTech-industry
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, with an understanding of other Scandinavian languages
  • Driver’s license B
  • Strong coordination skills and the ability to manage ongoing matters independently
  • Experience with technical business systems and technical documentation
  • It’s an advantage if you have experience working in Medusa
  • Ability to work independently with great accuracy and ownership
