Job Description

What you’ll do:

"This position will be based in Eaton’s Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (GSC CoE) in Pune.

The individual will be a part of a growing, agile and diverse team driving Supply Chain Risk Management process through an innovative, industry best in class risk detection solution.

The key role will be to build & enhance resiliency of Eaton's Supply Chain, fostering cross functional relationships and delivering supply chain risk management programs to achieve excellence in supplier risk management."

1. Leading a team responsible for proactive risk identification and effective risk management.
>Supplier Risk profiling: Monitoring & assessing suppliers against various type of risks to identify the High risk suppliers & execute mitigation strategies to effectively manage the risk.
> Risk detection:
a. Incidental: Monitor various risk events occurring globally that could impact Eaton supply base.
b. High Risk suppliers: Monitor Eaton supplier sites for elevated risk, Drive coordination meetings to report to businesses & plan appropriate mitigation or influence decision making for building a long term strategy.
> Risk Assessment: Collaborate with Suppliers & internal teams to assess impact of risk events on Eaton operations.
> Risk mitigation:
a. Effective coordination with sourcing & category management teams to develop robust mitigation strategies (Contingency & recovery plans) for various risk events (Crisis situation)
b. Ensuring timely execution of mitigation strategies
c. Preparing risk event summary and communication to leadership team on regular basis
> Risk event simulation: Running simulations based on historical event history to proactively predict the potential impact & coordinate with relevant parties for preparedness
> Managing Risk detection tool:
a. Primary Point of contact (SME)
b. Conducting trainings for suppliers and internal teams
c. Enhancing user adoption,

> Developing training material, SOPs
> Developing & executing communication plans
> Managing 3rd Party applications - SME

Technical Competencies & Service Delivery Requirements -

> Effective project management skills, PMP certification will be preferred
> Strong people leadership Skills
> Strong Working Knowledge ERP Systems & business intelligence tools
> Be able to break down of data sets into meaningful interpretations, work on predictive analysis to enable proactive governance
> Excellent communication skills to work with teams remotely, close coordination with cross-functional operations team to ensure closure
> Flexible attitude to work with the willingness to learn new skills when required
> Alignment with the Corporate Risk & Compliance / SCM Leaders, align with the strategy and deploy those strategies.

Qualifications:

Masters Degree in business administration or bachelors degree from an accredited institution, preferably MBA Operations Research
10-12 years of working experience in global supply chain environment, preferably within manufacturing industries with hands on experience of managing supply chain Risk & material shortage management
