We’re looking for a

Team Lead, Record to Report

to join our Finnair Business Services team in Tartu, Estonia.

As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of the Record to Report team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, accurate, and timely financial services. In this role, you will combine people leadership, process ownership, and continuous improvement while working closely with stakeholders across the Finnair Group. You will play a key role in developing the team and optimizing Record to Report processes while fostering effective collaboration across stakeholders.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead, support and motivate the R2R team while driving competence development, talent management and performance excellence

  • Plan team resources and workloads to ensure efficient, accurate and high-quality service delivery

  • Oversee daily Record to Report operations and coordinate effective collaboration and information flow across teams and stakeholders

  • Own and continuously develop relevant R2R sub-processes, ensuring efficient ways of working and high process performance

  • Set targets, monitor performance and report KPIs to relevant stakeholders

  • Identify and drive process improvement initiatives, including finance projects, change activities and system enhancements in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.

You will succeed in this role if you have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field

  • At least 5 years of experience in finance, including leadership responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping and Record to Report processes

  • Strong analytical, project management and continuous improvement skills

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and collaboration abilities

  • Experience leading teams and driving change in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple responsibilities

  • Experience with finance and accounting systems and advanced Excel skills

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.

We are filling a full-time permanent position in our Tartu office.

Please note that regular on-site presence in Tartu is required for this role. While hybrid working arrangements are possible, this is not a fully remote position.
