About the role
As part of Enterprise Strategy & Change (ES&C) department in Reserve Bank of Australia, you will lead a collaborative team of Test Automation analysts & leads actively working across various business streams to embed and uplift automation capability while directly engaging in complex delivery challenges alongside project teams.
Using the Enterprise Test Automation Framework, you will also be providing governance & quality assurance for Infrastructure projects, and where required, directly contributing to test strategy definition, framework adaptation and issue resolution, while guiding the relevant Test Leads on the test approach.

About you
Test Automation Lead/Architect with hands-on experience of implementing Enterprise Test Automation framework (Java, C#) solutions in agile/ DevOps (CI /CD) environment using Selenium/ Cucumber, Playwright. The ideal candidate should be well experienced in architecting Automation solutions, provide technical leadership in design and architecture of the automation framework, experienced around test tool adoption and support. Candidate should also have understanding of quality assurance frameworks and thus be able to review and provide guidance on best‑practice test approaches from a QE perspective within Enterprise Testing Services, particularly for reporting and infrastructure projects.
This is a People Leader role with 7 - 10 direct reports, and you are expected to lead, guide and develop these individuals and teams to effectively achieve agreed outcomes and manage their performance reviews as well. Primary focus is on providing uplift to the test automation framework while leading and developing individuals and teams to achieve goals and deliver RBA outcomes.
