As R&D Network & Security Team Lead, you'll take ownership of embedding cybersecurity principles into the lifecycle of our robotic and software systems, while leading and developing a team of security professionals. You will collaborate with R&D, product management, and compliance teams to define the security strategy, assess risks, set security requirements, and drive our alignment with regulations and standards including NIS2, CRA, and IEC 62443.
- Lead and grow a small team responsible for network and cybersecurity across our robotics platforms and IT infrastructure
- Define and oversee the implementation of cybersecurity measures, policies, and controls, translating NIS2 and CRA requirements into actionable practices
- Own the security risk assessment and threat modelling process, guiding the team's methodology and output
- Set and enforce secure software and hardware development practices across R&D
- Drive product certifications and assessments related to IEC 62443 and ISO27001
- Lead incident response planning, security testing, and coordinate response efforts when needed
- Represent the security function in cross-departmental and management discussions
- Monitor cybersecurity trends and evolving regulatory requirements, and translate these into team priorities and roadmap
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 6-8 years' experience in leading a team or projects, preferably in an industrial, cybersecurity or embedded systems context
- Strong knowledge of the NIS2 directive, Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and IEC 62443 standards
- Solid understanding of network security, secure software development, and industrial control system (ICS) security
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop technical team members
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, decisive, and team-oriented leadership style
- Fluency in English and Dutch
