About the Team
The data governance team oversees Data Quality and Governance operations, ensuring the integrity of item data. The team proactively partners with key organizational teams to empower product data as an asset of the enterprise by assessing product data, implementing data quality rules and requirements, identifying gaps, and providing item-data quality assurance through measurements and metrics to drive internal and external accountability.
The Team Lead is primarily responsible for driving online revenue and traffic growth by overseeing the consistency, accuracy, and readiness of item data. This role leads the day-to-day execution of item lifecycle processes, ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality product information that enables seamless customer experiences across digital assets. The Team Lead serves as a subject matter expert and key point of coordination between Online Merchandising, Merchandising Operations, and cross-functional business teams to proactively monitor, improve, and govern item data quality standards. The role is responsible for ensuring process adherence, identifying risks to deliverables, escalating issues appropriately, and developing mitigation strategies that align with enterprise goals and strategic initiatives. The Team Lead must possess the ability to assess where processes or data strategies may not optimally support business objectives, recommend scalable solutions, and effectively partner with functional and solution teams to achieve organizational and customer experience goals. The Team Lead will also be responsible for leading and managing a team of 5+ associates. There will be end-to-end accountability for the deliverables and the onus to build a high performing team.
