Your Opportunity:

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Team Lead – Kitting & Fulfillment to join our Production Assembly & Support team in Duluth, GA. In this working leadership role, you will help coordinate daily workflow, support and train team members, and ensure customer orders are completed safely, accurately, and on time.

Work Authorization:

To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Overtime may be required as needed.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily workflow and priorities for kitting and fulfillment activities.
  • Monitor customer orders to ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
  • Provide daily work direction, training, coaching, and support to team members.
  • Help assign work and balance resources to meet production goals.
  • Review completed work for accuracy, quality, and customer requirements.
  • Communicate customer specifications, deadlines, and quality expectations to the team.
  • Troubleshoot issues involving materials, inventory, workflow, equipment, or order fulfillment.
  • Communicate production status, material shortages, delays, and operational concerns to the Kitting Supervisor.
  • Support onboarding and training for new employees.
  • Coach team members on safe and efficient work practices.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Ensure company policies, quality requirements, and safety procedures are followed.
  • Pull, stage, assemble, package, and fulfill customer orders as needed.
  • Support other departments based on business and production needs.
  • Serve as a backup resource for the Kitting Supervisor when assigned.

You Must Have:

  • Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, fulfillment, kitting, or production environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability through training employees, coordinating workflow, leading projects, or serving in an informal leadership role.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing production needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with employees across departments.

Requirements Within This Position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Frequently required to move throughout the facility.
  • Constantly operates equipment and handles products, materials, and print-related items.
  • Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
  • Regularly lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Previous experience as a Team Lead, Lead Operator, Trainer, or in another leadership role within a manufacturing, warehouse, or fulfillment environment.
  • Experience with inventory management, fulfillment operations, or warehouse management systems.
  • Experience in print manufacturing, graphics, or a custom production environment.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
  • Experience supporting employee onboarding and training.
