We are looking for a Team Lead to join our industrial mechanic maintenance team. This is a full-time, permanent position on the night shift from Monday to Thursday, from 6:30 PM to 5:00 AM.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Team Lead participates in the repair and maintenance of production equipment. They organize and supervise the work and employees under their responsibility and are primarily responsible for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of equipment and parts management. They ensure compliance with health and safety rules by applying safe practices.

What you’re responsible for:

  • Repair, maintain, and inspect fixed machinery;
  • Plan and assign tasks to be performed, with the help of the Supervisor;
  • Coordinate, assign, and supervise the work of employees under your responsibility;
  • Organize and participate in preventive and corrective shutdowns;
  • Analyze problems that arise in your department and find appropriate solutions;
  • Manage current and future parts supply needs in collaboration with the management and procurement team;
  • Continuously develop your team's skills;
  • Take necessary measures to maintain good staff performance;
  • Ensure at all times that employees under your responsibility and/or any other employees strictly follow health and safety policies and procedures;
  • Verify the quality of your team's work.

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • Have a DEP in industrial mechanics;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial mechanics;
  • One year of experience in personnel management;
  • Experience with hydraulic systems (asset);
  • Knowledge of chain-driven machinery;
  • Knowledge of belt-driven machinery;
  • Excellent welding skills and knowledge.
