Objective of the position
In this role, you will provide leadership to the Hardware Engineering team within the Product Development (PD) organization, driving the development of hardware solutions for electronic architectures and advanced PCB platforms, with a strong strategic focus on optical performance.The positionensures effective resource planning, budget management, and adherence to processes to drive successful delivery and continuous improvement.You will alsomonitorprogress, quality, and costs, whileidentifyingindustry trends and defining short- and mid-term departmental goals
In parallel, the roleremainshands-on in hardware design, translating customer and product requirements into technical specifications and solutions. This includes designing PCBs and optical solutions, selecting components and materials,maintainingdesign documentation, and overseeing verification, validation, and testing activities in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Education,ExperienceandKnowledge
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering(Electronics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, ora related field).
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in hardware and/or electronics engineering, including minimum 3-5 years of team leadership experience.
Strong multidisciplinary knowledge of both hardware and software engineering principles.
Familiarity with automotive standards and core tools, including PPAP, DFMEA, APQP, and 8Dmethodologiesis a big plus.
Working knowledge of relevant regulations and standards such as RoHS, REACH, ISO 16750, ISO 26262, and R10.
Excellent communication skills in English (additionallanguages are an advantage), with a demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development in embedded and automotive electronics.
