Our development team of 30+ developers have their hands full and we are on the search for a fullstack developer with team lead skills to join us. You will work on customer projects directly with our clients. Your goal is to develop, optimize, and maintain backend systems to meet our customers' needs. Additionally, you will solve customers' technical problems and implement specifications designed together with the customer.

You will develop backend systems that receive and process large amounts of data from thousands of devices and produce valuable information for our customers. These systems mainly run on various cloud service providers’ platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.).
Some key competencies we value are Java and knowledge of time series databases.
You will also develop frontend systems in customer projects. You will create UI components and be responsible for the visual appearance of the solutions.
Your responsibilities include:
Handling UI-related releases and updates to customer systems
Maintaining and updating implementation dependencies and libraries
Participating in the design and maintenance of UI project architecture
Creating new test cases for UI projects
We aim to work in an AI-assisted development model where intelligent agents are a key part of the software development process. Developers act as architects, supervisors, and quality owners.
We value experience working alongside AI tools and coding agents, where you guide execution, critically review outputs, and ensure architectural integrity. You understand that the future of software development is less about typing code line by line and more about designing systems, validating AI-generated output, and maintaining technical excellence.
You work as a mentor for AI agents.
As a Team Lead, your main tasks will be organizing and planning your team's tasks to keep everything running smoothly. You'll be designing solutions and figuring out workloads with the project team, then creating tasks in Jira based on those evaluations.
You'll keep an eye on project progress daily and weekly, joining production planning meetings to stay on top of things. Part of your job is to maintain resourcing and report on project status and any potential roadblocks to the operational manager.
On top of managing your team, you'll be the go-to person between the client and your team You'll keep in touch with clients alongside account managers, making sure everyone is on the same page with goals and timelines. You'll also help the sales team with proposals, providing solution ideas and workload estimates.
Being proactive is key, you'll anticipate potential issues and let clients know in advance. Your role is to ensure both the client and your team are working towards the same goals, addressing any problems quickly and effectively.
We expect you to have prior experience in a similar role, and good Finnish and English skills.

You have worked in similar positions and have proven successes. You have experience or at least interest in Team Lead related tasks. Additionally, the Industrial Internet of Things is a familiar concept to you. Knowledge of the engineering industry is considered an advantage.
You have a natural precision and eye for software design. We hope you are proactive, ask when you get stuck, and are ready to help colleagues.
We hope that you already have experience in both frontend and backend development. Backend experience is preferred to be stronger.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone based in the Pirkanmaa area who enjoys a strong office culture and likes coming to the office. There’s no office mandate, but at Remion we do believe that in-person collaboration and everyday face-to-face encounters bring real value. We are offering a salary based on the level of expertise from €5000 to €6000. We would like to have an open discussion about your salary thoughts and find a starting salary that meets your needs.
You are welcome to work at our Finlayson, Tampere office. Remote work is also fine but we do hope to see you in our company events and team gatherings. We do not have mandatory office workdays.
