Job Description

The Lead for Digital is responsible for supervising the day to day activities of the department to ensure all operations run seamlessly. They will report to department supervisor and will work alongside the supervisor and team.

Schedule: Saturday - Wednesday

Shift: 7:30 pm – 4:00 am


Duties and Responsibilities:

General

  • Support with flexibility other areas of the operation as needed
  • Understand that additional hours/days of work will be needed as volumes dictate, particularly during special events or customer exceptions and must be available and willing to work the necessary hours to support the operation
  • QSHE – Follow requirements as dictated by the QSHE team. Assist in preparation and successful passing of internal audits
  • KNPS – Help grow and support operations through KNPS continuous improvement culture
  • Participate or support in daily company safety commitments and/or KN Care

    Daily Duties

  • Read and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Performing clerical and customer service functions, including interacting with customers, and responding to any questions or requests on timely manner.
  • Track and update Overtime and workorder file
  • Support with end of day report/dashboard email
  • Communicate goals and deadlines to team members
  • Planning workloads and delegating tasks
  • Fill out and scan/email Time Correction Sheets to appropriate managers
  • Update SQCDEP file with relevant KPIs
  • Assist Lead and/or Supervisor with daily exception processes
  • Track and trace all important equipment within the department
  • Open IS&T tickets for any IT related problems and follow up
  • Run Locus report for short or check pick and pickers productivity
  • Run Productivity report for Picking & Packing
  • Over pick or Short pick investigation
  • Research pending orders
  • Trouble shoot issues and able to identify root cause analysis, familiar with 5Whys.
  • Assist in the training of new associates on all necessary processes utilizing SOPs/SOSs
  • Participate in management meetings
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workspace and ensure all areas of the department meet 5S standards
  • Track and order supplies used in Digital department include pochettes and corrugated boxes
  • Creating a productive work environment for the team using trust and other appropriate strategies
  • Other tasks or urgent requests that may arise

    Qualifications:

    Knowledge of:

  • Warehouse management systems
  • Warehouse processes and interpersonal skills
  • Digital (E-com) processes and functions


    Skills and/or Experience:

  • Ability to successfully communicate – both verbal and written
  • Intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel
  • AS400 experience or any WMS experience helpful
  • Proficient Data Entry Skills
  • Ability to follow through and provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to efficiently solve problems
  • Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks
  • Must be organized
