WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO AS TEAM LEAD CONTROLROOM?

As Team Lead Control Room, you are the pillar of support for the logistics operation. The control room informs the logistics operation and provides direction where necessary. Together with your team, you ensure that the logistics process runs smoothly at the SQDP level.

The team monitors everything closely and provides the necessary advice at the right moment. You ensure the optimal utilization of the highly automated mechanical processes to achieve maximum machine efficiency and prevent bottlenecks or disruptions. In doing so, you take into account customer requirements, staff deployment, necessary employee training, machine capacity, and other important prerequisites. You determine priorities and ensure adjustments throughout the day.

As Team Lead Controlroom you are going to do the following tasks:

  • Coaching and leading a team of Equipment Control Room Specialists, Operational Control Room Specialists, and Process Control Room Specialists;
  • Advising operations on how to deploy people and resources in the most efficient manner;
  • Maintaining an overview of the systems to safeguard the process flow and ensure the continuity of the process flow;
  • Communicating between operations, MHE partners, and the control room;
  • Controlled and safe startup and maintenance of systems, including the Warehouse Control System and Warehouse Management System;
  • Contributing to improved machine and warehouse performance;
  • Testing new/modified equipment for system technical variables;
  • Identifying patterns in machine malfunctions.

WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO WORK?

As Team Leader Control Room, you are responsible for a team of 10 employees, including Equipment Controlroom Specialists, Operational Controlroom Specialists, and Process Controlroom Specialists. You report to the Control Room Manager from your base in Bleiswijk. You will work in 3 shifts (early shift 6.15 – 14.45h, late shift 14.45 – 23.15h and night shift 23.15 – 6.15h. Also during the weekends.

You are someone who enjoys taking on challenges and is capable of functioning within a dynamic and rapidly changing environment. As a Control Room Team Lead, you feel right at home in a dynamic environment and can convince others with your insight, opinion, and advice. You are able to quickly switch between the day-to-day needs of your team, the organization, and the processes. Striving for optimal results is a top priority for you, and you can maintain a good overview of planning, results, and progress. You are a strong communicator, socially skilled, and a true team player. Furthermore, you bring the following knowledge and experience:

  • Associates’ or bacholor’s degree in a logistics or technical field;
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a dynamic logistics environment;
  • Experience as a team leader and managing a team of professionals;
  • Stress resistance, a sense of responsibility, and strong organizational skills;
  • Full-time availability;
  • Excellent knowledge of the English, written and spoken.

  • A gross monthly salary between € 2.946 and € 4.187 plus 8% holiday pay (classification depending on, among other things, your work experience and level of education);
