Then we would like to welcome you as Team Lead - Cloud Infrastructure / SRE (m/f/d) to our international team in Berlin!
- Leadership You guide and mentor the Cloud Infrastructure team of 4, fostering a culture of ownership, reliability, and continuous improvement
- Architecture You work hands-on with the team to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on GCP
- Collaboration You partner with Software Engineering teams and the SRE team, enabling them to build and operate reliable services
- Automation You drive infrastructure automation and CI/CD improvements using Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions and related tooling
- Innovation You contribute to architectural decisions and continuously challenge existing solutions to improve scalability and resilience
- Development You take on diverse technical problems and work on tasks that enable you to continuously learn new things
- Security You implement robust measures to protect our cloud environment and deployment platforms
Your fitness level
- Leadership You have at least 2 years of experience as a Team Lead (m/f/d) for a software engineering team, including full disciplinary responsibility
- Expertise You bring several years of extensive experience in Systems Engineering or DevOps, with a deep technical focus on Linux, networking, Kubernetes, and cloud providers (preferably GCP)
- Infrastructure You possess solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and managing containerized workloads
- Observability You are familiar with monitoring and observability stacks such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Programming You script and automate effectively using Python or Bash, while experience with Go or Java is a significant advantage
- Ownership You act as a proactive problem solver with a strong sense of responsibility for your team's output
Your training goal for your first 6 months
- Integration You gain a deep understanding of the EGYM ecosystem and how the different teams within the software engineering organization collaborate
- Mastery You become fully comfortable with our cloud infrastructure, tooling, and automation workflows
- Leadership You establish yourself as a trusted technical and people leader within the Cloud Infrastructure team
- Mentorship You actively mentor engineers, provide constructive feedback, and support their professional growth
