The ACH team delivers exceptional service to clients and business partners who rely on Schwab’s ACH capabilities. The team provides world-class operational execution across current and future Brokerage and Bank ACH products, including profile setup, issue resolution, escalation management, reversals and reclamations, and processing of daily ACH reports. The Team Lead oversees these functions, providing supervision and quality oversight of team members work while helping the Firm mitigate fraud and operational risk.
What you are good at:
- Support team development through coaching team members to promote excellence in delivering world class operational service and support for all current and future Brokerage and Bank ACH transactions, inclusive of profile setups, reporting, research, and oversight.
- Support Team Managers in delivering optimal business results, including coaching employees on effective workflow management and serving as a point of escalation for the team.
- Support a team culture that fosters a supportive and positive work environment and highly engaged employees.
- Works on a moderate scope of problems, issues, or exception items that fall outside of normal process through independent and proactive problem resolution, including support of internal business partner research and escalations.
- Embracing and adapting to changing policies, procedures, and general operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Representatives will correspond by phone and email with internal and external business partners, including third-party vendors, customer service teams, branch representatives and other operational teams.

What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- FINRA Series 7, 63, 9 and 10 (or 24) licenses required.
- 5 years financial services and/or banking industry experience required, including 3 years in the ACH field.
- General understanding of NACHA policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AAP certification preferred
- Experience in leadership training or seminars
- Superior planning and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently and adapt quickly to changing needs of the team.
- Passion for service, professionalism, positivity, and strong work ethic with a high level of integrity and teamwork.
- Excellent relationship management skills including collaborating and influencing.
- Ability to identify potential risk situations and mitigate in an effective and timely manner.
- Ability to help others successfully manage organizational changes, supporting, initiating, sponsoring, and implementing organization change.
- Ability to apply policy, procedures, and regulation knowledge to exercise solid business judgement when making payment decisions or requesting exceptions outside of policy.
- Ability to work within a deadline driven and fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively communicate with cross-site business partners and peers.
- Adaptable to learn and navigate multiple integrated brokerage and banking applications.
- Takes initiative to perform day-to-day tasks with limited guidance or direct supervision, utilizing resources to solve problems as they arise.
- Proficient computer skills, with the ability to navigate between multiple applications, and utilize the Microsoft Office Suite of products
