We are looking for someone who will be versatile and ensure the production plan is fully achieved on time and in compliance with internal and external requirements including safety and environmental needs.

What your responsible for:

  • Dealing with daily obstacles. Must be able to motivate employees and ensure compliance with the organization's objectives, regulations, and procedures.
  • Coordinating, organize and supervise his/her team in order to carry out the various day-to-day activities of operations and to ensure that the schedule is followed.
  • Taking the necessary measures to protect health and safety to prevent work-related accidents.
  • Taking the necessary measures to protect the environment by ensuring compliance with the regulations and laws in force.
  • Distributing the work between the different team members in order to operate in an optimal way.
  • Supporting team members in resolving problems encountered.
  • Coordinating continuous improvement projects related to production.

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • You have a minimum of 2 years experience in production as a team lead
  • You have a history of improving individual and team performance
  • You have prior steel or metal experience an asset
  • You have strong communication skills
  • You have strong health and safety skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Information

Additional Information:

  • Hourly pay for this position is to start at CAD26/hr, plus overtime after 44 hours.
  • Permanent and full-time position;
  • 44 hours per week, including some rotating weekend work
  • Opportunity for overtime;
