Team Lead Associate Solution Engineer

Department: Sales

Role Purpose


The Team Lead for Manila is a hybrid leadership and technical role within NCC Group’s Sales Engineering & Field Strategy team. This position is responsible for managing the Manila-based team of Associate Technical Solutions Engineers and Technical Solutions Support Administrators, ensuring delivery against KPIs and performance metrics. The role acts as a people manager, driving engagement, development, and operational excellence, while retaining bandwidth to support technical scoping and quality assurance for high-volume, low-complexity opportunities when required.

This role requires strong leadership skills, process improvement capability, and a solid technical foundation to provide guidance and escalation support to the team.

Key Responsibilities




  • Lead and manage the Manila team, including performance reviews, coaching, and development.

  • Monitor and report on KPIs and operational metrics for presales support and scoping activities.

  • Oversee daily triage processes, ensuring timely allocation of presales requests and adherence to SLAs.

  • Act as an escalation point for technical queries and quality assurance checks on solution documentation.

  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and consistency across presales operations.

  • Collaborate with regional and global Solution Architecture leadership to align team objectives with business goals.

  • Maintain awareness of NCC Group’s service portfolio and emerging cybersecurity trends.

  • Contribute to client engagements where additional technical support is required.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise


What we are looking for in you



Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience in team leadership or people management within a technical or presales environment.

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network architecture, and cloud services (Azure, AWS).

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, penetration testing methodologies, and risk management.

  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and provide QA oversight.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce).


Desired Requirements

  • Previous experience in presales or solution architecture roles.

  • Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS).

  • Exposure to process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.

  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent experience.
