
In this role, youare responsible foroverseeing part ofHunkemöller’sfinancial operations and leading a team of Accounts Payable administrators. You ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in AP processes and financial reporting. You bring a strong finance and accounting background, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and manage a team of Accounts Payable administrators, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, andtimelyexecution of APprocesses;
Oversee day-to-day Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendormanagement;
Prepare andanalyseAP-related reports, such as vendor aging, weekly payment runs, and cash flow inputs to support Treasury and financial planningactivities;
Reconcile VAT accounts and ensureaccurateandtimelyVAT reporting in compliance with statutory and internalrequirements;
Coordinate andsubmitIntrastat declarations, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to reportingdeadlines;
Oversee fixed asset accounting, including asset additions, disposals, and the monthly depreciation cycle, ensuringaccuraterecords and compliance with accountingstandards;
Continuously assess and improve AP processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, andcontrol;
Create an inspiring and collaborative teamenvironment;
Set clearobjectives,monitorperformance, andidentifyopportunities forimprovement;
Stimulate creativity and solution‑oriented thinking within the team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Finance, Accounting, or a relateddiscipline;
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within finance oraccounting;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English, with the ability to effectively lead, coach, and motivate ateam;
Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strictdeadlines;
Solid knowledge of European tax and VAT legislation and regulatory requirements, with the ability to apply them in a business environment.
