Job Description

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to lead others
• Makes effective use of work time
• Demonstrates good judgement in using tools, equipment, etc., when non-standard
situation arises.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a
particular field
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment

• Maintain good attendance and punctuality as defined in attendance policy

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and have ability to multi-task
• Ability to lift to 50+lbs.
• Highly energized and self-motivated with experience working with teams to
implement change
• Ability to multi-task & handle task with competing priorities
• Have the patience, perseverance and passion to drive the lean culture across the
plant
• Must be able to must be pass forklift certification on Masonite Learning
Management System “LMS”
• Ability to lead, influence and motivate a group of peers without direct supervision
• Performs other responsibilities as required
• Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to
avoid disruptions in production and customer service
• Follow all operational and safety SOP’s as written
Qualifications
• Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent
• Additional formal education and/or training is a plus
• 5 plus years work experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Working knowledge of and experience of production flow and processes
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop effective teams without direct
control
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
