Team Lead
Salary:
£45,000 per annum + Package (negotiable based on experience)
Working Pattern:
Regional Office Worker (Site based & Homeworking)
Location:
South London (including sites in Croydon)

Your leadership will be the driving force behind a skilled team of Employment Specialists, ensuring they are empowered, trained, and inspired and create opportunities. Working across the IPS model, you will champion innovation, inclusion, and performance excellence.

Collaboration is key You’ll work closely with stakeholders, partners, and employers, ensuring employment support is seamlessly integrated with existing services and interventions. Beyond performance, your role is about creating opportunities, shifting mindsets, and transforming workplaces

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Proven leadership experience in managing, coaching, and developing high-performing teams within employment support, vocational rehabilitation, or related services.
  • Knowledge and experience of IPS Fidelity.
  • Passion for social inclusion and supporting people with mental health conditions, substance misuse issues, disabilities, or other barriers to employment.
  • Strong understanding of IPS principles and a commitment to person-centred, strengths-based approaches.
  • Ability to drive quality, performance and analyse data.
  • Demonstrated budget management and resource allocation experience, ensuring efficient and impactful service delivery.
  • Ability to manage lone working risk assessments, safeguarding protocols, and health & safety considerations for Employment Specialists working in the community
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, ensuring high-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery of employment support services.
  • A collaborative leader, committed to team development, continuous improvement, and high service quality standards.
  • Flexibility to travel and provide hands-on support across multiple sites

What You’ll Bring

  • Management experience in health, employment, or social care services (desirable but not essential
  • Employment services-related qualification (e.g., vocational rehabilitation, social work, or human resources).
  • Experience in developing partnerships with key stakeholders such as NHS services, local authorities, and employers.
  • Experience in voluntary sector management or community-based employment initiatives.
  • Familiarity with the local area, including employment trends and key community organisations.

Desirable but Not Essential:

  • Knowledge and experience of the IPS/ SEQF models and principles.
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including disabilities or long-term health conditions.
  • A background in community outreach, stakeholder engagement, or employment services.
