DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Team Lead, 3PL in Port of Brisbane.

The Team Leader serves as a key point of guidance for the team, providing day-to-day direction, training, and support, while acting as the first point of escalation for operational matters. This role is responsible for overseeing a broad range of bonded warehouse activities, including inbound and outbound cargo movements, cargo outturning, storage management, consolidation, and FAK/ULD loading and unloading. The Team Leader ensures accurate record-keeping of all cargo movements, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and is accountable for planning, allocating work, and resolving operational issues to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Your typical day at DSV:

• Lead and support the warehouse team in daily operations, acting as the first point of contact for guidance, training, and issue escalation.
• Coordinate and oversee bonded and cleared cargo movements, including check-in/out, storage, and accurate record keeping.
• Plan and allocate work across the team to ensure operational efficiency, timely processing, and achievement of KPIs.
• Manage FAK/ULD packing and unpacking activities, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, safety standards, and optimal space utilisation.
• Maintain compliance with Customs, Quarantine, and regulatory requirements, while ensuring secure handling and storage of cargo.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and service providers to resolve issues, provide updates, and ensure smooth operations.

About you:

• 
  Proven experience in a freight forwarding or warehouse environment, with strong knowledge of bonded operations.Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience supervising and supporting team members in day-to-day operations.
• 
  Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
• 
  Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• 
  Solid systems knowledge, including experience with WMS and general computer proficiency.
• 
  Current Forklift Licence (including reach experience) and commitment to safe work practices.
