Team Lead

Responsibilities:

Team Lead for providing Readiness Assistance Training Team (RATT) Support Services to Commander, Naval Surface Forces, Pacific Fleet (CNSP/COMNAVSURFPAC). RATT is a Type Commander (TYCOM) asset employed to provide direct support to ships, at the request of the Commanding Officer, tailored to the ship's needs and requirements. RATT ship visits are intended to significantly enhance a ship's organic proficiency and capabilities for a discrete period of time as added capability to conduct training, and address material issues. The Team Lead must possess the depth and breadth of experience to provide best recommendations to keep a warship ready for combat. The Team Lead must be capable to provide candid guidance to the training team and to the ship’s crew for expanding the ship’s crew’s knowledge with insightful methodology.

The salary for this position is $115,000-$125,000

Requirements:

• US Citizen with Secret Security Clearance
• Under-graduate or associates degree or extensive demonstrated experience in a management role.
• Over 25 years of supervisory experience in analyses, information system operations, and implementation of technical projects
• Supervisory main propulsion experience with Navy surface ship maintenance processes
• Extensive experience as shipboard Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW) on multiple ships
• Extensive experience in Navy Ship main propulsion engineering on multiple ships
• Maintenance/training staff experience (e.g. Immediate Superior In Charge (ISIC), Type Commander (TYCOM), or Afloat Training Group)
• In-depth knowledge of Navy ship depot level maintenance processes
• In-depth knowledge of the theory and workings of surface ship maintenance processes
