Team Lead (Full-Stack)

A hands-on coding role — you will own technical delivery, coordinate with the Product Owner on sprint execution, and provide mentorship and direction to the team. You will model Level 3 AI maturity practices for the team and be expected to operate at that standard from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical delivery across the full stack (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, Nest.js)
• Delegate scoped development tasks to AI agents, reviewing and approving outputs at the PR level within CI/CD-gated workflows (GitHub Actions)
• Write, review, and own production-quality code across frontend and backend components
• Navigate and contribute to both legacy (jQuery, stored procedures) and modern parts of the codebase simultaneously
• Own technical coordination — translating backlog items into well-scoped engineering tasks, including tasks structured for AI agent execution
• Model and embed Level 3 AI working practices across the team, supporting the Senior Engineer's maturity progression
• Participate in architecture and backlog walkthrough sessions with CLIENT’S technical team prior to kick-off
• Provide clear technical visibility to the Product Owner and flag delivery risks early

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4 years in a lead or senior delivery role
• Minimum AI Maturity Level 3** — you delegate scoped coding tasks to AI agents, review generated code at the PR level, and operate within CI/CD-integrated AI workflows as standard practice
• Strong hands-on proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript across both frontend (React) and backend (Node.js, Nest.js)
• Experience with MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
• Comfortable working in AWS environments and with infrastructure-as-code tooling (Terraform, Vault)
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions
• Proven experience working in active migration contexts (on-premises to cloud) rather than greenfield builds

Preferred

• Experience with HTML5 Web Components and legacy jQuery codebases
• Exposure to enterprise agentic AI workflows or multi-agent orchestration (Level 4)
• Prior experience in a co-located, client-embedded delivery model
