Travel Percentage: NoneWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics/Tumbling Instructor to join our team. As a Gymnastics/Tumbling Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching gymnastics to children of all ages and skill levels in a fun and safe environment.
Starting pay is $14/hour depending on experience.
Must be at least 15 years of age.
Responsibilities:
Lead gymnastics classes for children of all ages and skill levels
Create age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate fun and engaging activities to keep children motivated and interested
Assess each child's skill level and adjust teaching style and difficulty level as needed
Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all children
Provide individualized feedback and support to children to help them improve their coordination and gymnastics skills
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other instructors

QualificationsRequirements:
Previous tumbling experience is a plus
Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, proper gymnastics technique and safety guidelines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Ability to lift and spot children
Ability to work with children of all ages and skill levels
Ability to modify lesson plans to meet the needs of each child
Passion for teaching and inspiring children to learn and grow
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Must be able to pass a background check

Blue Valley Rec is a separate entity; the Board of Education certifies the Commission’s budget and appoints commissioners. The great partnership with the Blue Valley School District allows Blue Valley Rec to contain costs to patrons.
