The role

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Team Assistant to support our Real Estate Team in delivering high-quality, comprehensive, efficient, and effective matter and client management, and administrative support services.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and develop their career within an administrative role in a professional services environment.

The role is to work Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm. With 4 days a week in the office for the first 3 months. As with all industries that are client-focussed, some flexibility is required.

Key Responsibilities

Working alongside our Practice Assistants and Junior Practice Assistants, you will provide effective, collaborative, and high-quality support to fee earners.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support to fee earners and the wider team.
  • Assisting with matter opening, billing, and general file management.
  • Supporting fee earners and getting involved in legal work where appropriate.
  • Acting as team cover and providing float support across departments as needed.
  • Managing and maintaining case management systems and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Supporting with the coordination of client-related documents and correspondence.

Support may be provided to more than one department, and departments may change from time to time to reflect the firm’s structure and requirements.

About You

  • Previous experience in an administrative or Team Assistant role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Confident communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative and adaptable approach.
  • Good IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and experience using case management systems.
  • Minimum of 4 GCSEs (Grade 5/C or above), including English Language and Maths.
  • A friendly, professional, and enthusiastic outlook, with a commitment to learning and contributing to a supportive team culture.

What are we like to work for?
