We are looking for a Team Assistant to join the Benefit Street Partners (BSP) Business Development Team in Tokyo, Japan. This role has the primary responsibility to provide a full range of business support and administrative services.

Provide effective diary and email management support
Arrange internal and external meetings with clients and stakeholders
Coordinate local and global video/teleconferencing requests, including room bookings and technical set‑up
Manage and reconcile monthly corporate card expenses and invoices
Handle all travel arrangements, including itineraries and visa applications
Prepare team meeting agendas and manage logistics, including minutes and action items where required
Provide on‑the‑ground support for internal and external client events and functions
Manage relationships with external vendors
Experience:
Minimum five years in a team assistant or administrative role
A solid understanding of the financial services industry is preferred
Technical Skills:
Native-level Japanese proficiency required
English language skills are a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with a high level of clarity and professionalism
Experience with customer relationship management systems
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Soft Skills:
Confident and effective communicator, able to engage with clients and business partners across varying levels of seniority
Highly professional and well presented, with the ability to demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and clear decision‑making
Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational, prioritization, and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment
