The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Team Administrator to support our Brisbane Rail & Metro team. Working closely with our engineers, you will be a vital member of the team, supporting projects and the broader administrative function.

This role is ideal for someone who brings strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for delivering high-quality administrative support in a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver high-quality proposals for the team
  • Prepare, coordinate, and distribute documents, reports, and presentations
  • Provide administrative support and coordination for the local team
  • Provide functional and wider company support adhering to SMEC’s policies and procedures
  • Develop effective and collaborative relationships with internal contacts and external stakeholders that contribute to the success of the business

About You

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an administrative role within a corporate environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse, multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational capability
  • Proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and deliver high-quality service
