The Dual Degree Program (DDP) in Technology & Management at HKUST is a prestigious and innovative program designed to cultivate leaders who excel in both technology and business management. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative teaching-track faculty member to design and implement a comprehensive undergraduate curriculum, and teach at the undergraduate level. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in both technology and business management, and substantial real-world experience. This role requires a passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering tomorrow's leaders through a cutting-edge educational experience.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Applicants should possess at least a Master's degree in technology, engineering, business management, entrepreneurship, innovation, or related disciplines. A PhD in a technology or engineering discipline is desirable; or an MBA will be an advantage
• Work experience in computer science, information technology, artificial intelligence, engineering, management consulting, startup or related disciplines preferred
• Professional experience in consulting, preferably with a reputable consulting firm with strong understanding of problem-solving and case analysis methodology, consulting practices, and contemporary business strategies
• Proven experience in curriculum development and instructional design, preferably at the undergraduate level
• Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor students in management consulting, innovation, entrepreneurship, problem-solving, technology commercialization, and related methodologies
• Proficiency in integrating technology and experiential learning approaches into educational settings
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Salary is highly competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits. Housing benefits will also be provided where applicable. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of the contract.
