Job Description
The Department of Physics at AUB is accepting applications for faculty positions teaching on a part-time basis to teach undergraduate courses during the Fall 2026-27 semester according to the needs of the department. We are looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team and help teach introductory physics courses.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and develop engaging lessons for freshmen and sophomore-level physics courses.
- Create and grade assignments, quizzes, and exams.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students.
- Collaborate with the faculty to enhance the curriculum.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the subject matter and pedagogical methods.
Application reviews will begin now and proceed on a rolling basis until the positions are filled.
Positions are to begin on September 1, 2026
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Physics for the position of part-time Assistant Instructor
- A Master's degree in Physics for the position of part-time Instructor
- A PhD degree in Physics for the position of part-time Lecturer
