The Department of Arabic and Near Eastern Languages is accepting applications for faculty positions teaching on a part-time basis to teach introductory, core, and elective courses during the Fall 2026-27 semester according to the needs of the department.
These positions require at least a master’s degree. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to teaching, innovative pedagogical tools, and thorough knowledge of the relevant disciplines.
Application reviews will begin now and proceed on a rolling basis until the positions are filled.
MA degrees are required for instructor positions, PhD degrees are required for lecturer positions.
A complete application includes a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, and, if applicable, ICE reports for all courses taught at AUB over the last three years.
