The Department of English at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for full-time teaching-faculty positions (non-tenure-track). The start date for these positions isFall2026
Duties include teaching introductory undergraduate in-resident courses in the Program in Writing and Rhetoric.
These positions will be hired at the rank ofLecturer, Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or Teaching Professor.Lecturers and Assistant Teaching Professors teach seven courses per year; Associate Teaching Professorsand Teaching Professorsteach sixcourses per year Onsite teaching is an essential function of this job.
