The Division of Integrative Systems and Design runs a wide variety of teaching and research projects that are multi-disciplinary. These projects use a wide range of technology and tools, including mechanical design and machines, electronic systems design, materials and shape design and IT systems design. The Division is looking for a candidate who is interested in computer-aided design and manufacturing, artificial intelligence, or product design. The appointee is expected to (a) assist course instructors in running innovation project courses; (b) conduct course tutorials/workshops; and (c) organize and facilitate events/activities.
Applicants should possess strong skills in one or more of the following areas: CAD/CAM tools and generative design, digital fabrication and rapid prototyping, computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence, deep learning, foundation models, multimodal AI systems, human-centered design, or computational design.
The ideal candidate should have good communication skills and be passionate about working with motivated and dynamic students. Candidates with less work experience may be considered for appointment as an Instructional Assistant
