
The Michael and Anne Greenwood School of Music seeks a full-time Teaching Assistant Professor of Collaborative Piano. Teaching assignments will be made according to the School’s needs and the candidate’s expertise, with preference given to candidates illustrating significant experience in performing with instrumentalists and vocalists, and in coaching collaborations that include piano.
The candidate would teach the two-semester Collaborative Piano course and Class Piano as needed. A portion of the assigned load will include collaborating with faculty, guest artist and student performers. The position may also include teaching secondary applied piano lessons and/or chamber music coaching.
The candidate is expected to engage in service to the unit and their profession, to be productive as an artist/scholar, and to promote an inclusive workplace and learning environment.
Master’s degree required. Doctorate in Collaborative Piano or equivalent professional experience preferred.
