Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support preschool classrooms serving children ages 3–5 years. Our programs provide high-quality educational services to young children with diverse developmental needs, including autism, communication delays, physical disabilities, and other developmental differences.
The Teaching Assistant plays a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment by supporting the classroom teacher in implementing daily instructional activities, classroom routines, and individualized learning opportunities. Working as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Teaching Assistant helps children develop communication, social-emotional, cognitive, physical, adaptive, and pre-academic skills while fostering independence and positive peer interactions.
Teaching Assistants may support an individual child, small groups of children, or the classroom as a whole based on the needs of the program.
