AREC 220 (Term 1)- History of Indigenous Agriculture in Canada - 200 hours, multiple GTA’s
AREC 222 (Term 1)- Introduction to Farm Business Management- 150 hours, 1 GTA
AREC 261 (Term 1) – Agricultural Data Analytics- 100 hours, 1 GTA
AREC 346 (Term1) - Principles of Selling- 90 hours, 1 GTA
AREC 347(Term 1) - Agribusiness Marketing Management – 90 hours, 1 GTA
AREC 428 (Term 1)- Case Studies in Agribusiness Management - 90 hours, 1 GTA

Start Date & End Date: September 2026- December 2026

AGRC 113(Term 2) – Agri-Food Issues and Institutions - 330 hours, multiple GTA's
AREC 230 (Term 2) - Innovation and Entrepreneurship- 80 hours, 1 GTA
AREC 262(Term 2)- Agricultural Data Analytics II- 120 hours, 1 GTA
AREC 272 (Term 2) – Introduction to Agricultural Economics - 90 hours, 1 GTA
AREC 322(Term 2) - Agricultural Finance– 110 hours, 1 GTA
AREC 343(Term 2) – Grain and Livestock Marketing – 130 hours, 1 GTA
Start Date & End Date: January 2027- April 2027

Rate of Pay $25.61 per hour

Duration of Employment (202609) Fall session and (202701) Winter Session

Qualifications Duties

In the appointment of Teaching Assistant, your general duties and responsibilities will vary depending on the class and the needs of the instructor:

  • Preparation/review of assignments and exams, delivering/attending lectures, marking, student consultation, invigilating, holding office hours, and conferring and supporting the Supervisor in charge as required by the assignment;
  • You will report to the faculty supervisor of the class you are

Skills and Abilities

Minimum of an M.Sc. degree or equivalent in Agricultural Economics or related field.

Registration in a graduate program in the College of Agriculture and Bioresources at the University of Saskatchewan.
