Gorseland Primary School are seeking Teaching Assistants (TA) in both KS1 and KS2.

We have the following positions available:

Position 1: Teaching Assistant, initially based in KS1

Hours: 8.30 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Position 2: KS2 Teaching Assistant

Hours of work: 8.30 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Position 3: KS2 Teaching Assistant (working afternoons)

Hours of work: 12 pm to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday, 17.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Gorseland is a larger than average, two-form entry primary school with a large Nursery and two specialist units. The school is seeking to recruit Teaching Assistants to work in either KS1 or KS2.Individuals must have drive and a passion for ensuring all children achieve their potential. The roles will include working with pupils in class and leading small group interventions.

You will need to have:

  • GCSE Grades A-C in English and mathematics, or equivalent
  • recent, relevant experience in working with children
  • the ability to work effectively in a team and with a range of stakeholders
  • patience, kindness, with high expectations for children and staff.
