We are seeking to appoint a caring, patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide individual support for a pupil with communication and interaction needs who is developing their acquisition of language. You will provide tailored 1:1 support in class, as well as individualised interventions, helping to ensure the student can access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their goals.
Lift Plumberow is a vibrant and high achieving three form entry primary school in the heart of Hockley, educating around 650 pupils from Reception to Year 6. We are committed to giving every child the best possible start through engaging teaching and a broad, balanced curriculum that promotes curiosity and active learning.
Our Early Years and Key Stage 1 provision lays strong foundations, and throughout the school we offer a wide range of experiences that bring learning to life. About the role
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and external professionals to support the child's communication, social interaction, emotional regulation and engagement in learning. The role will involve implementing personalised strategies and interventions to help the pupil access learning and achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
