We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team from September 2026. Experience is welcomed but full training will be given.

As our Teaching Assistant, you will be

• a consistently good classroom assistant
• a committed to achieving high standards
• flexible and can use their own initiative, understanding a range of duties
• able to work independently and as part of a team
• resilient, hardworking and self-motivated
• able to adapt to suit the needs of individual learners
• able to manage change well, and support children in a variety of situation.

You will:

• be required to provide support in small groups
• be a team player who is solution focused, patient and caring.
• have the ability to think on your feet and use your own initiative.
• have a good knowledge of or be prepared to learn about sensory strategies and how to use these to support children to self-regulate or be willing to learn.
• have an understanding of different communication methods.
• provide support for children by implementing an effective range of learning strategies to ensure outstanding learning outcomes for all students
• work closely with the class teacher
• liaise with teaching staff to plan and deliver classroom support.
