The Texas Hill Country School specializes in working with individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries, Developmental Disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorders, and a host of other developmental, neurological and psychological problems. The Texas Hill Country School is an integrated environment that promotes the development of functional academics and advances the attainment of skills for success. The curriculum at the Texas Hill Country School is goal oriented and addresses developmental skills and educational deficiencies. Instruction is geared to each student’s particular needs and includes individual, small group, and classroom activities that challenge each student to reach beyond his current limitations. Emphasis is placed on the association between classroom learning and everyday life. The high ratio of devoted staff to students creates a positive support system that emboldens students to develop academic, social, and independent living skills.
