St. James Primary Banora Point is seeking an innovative, energetic Teacher with a commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic Education and student-centred learning. St. James’ School has 400 students who are educated by dedicated teachers and caring parents in a co-responsible manner. Banora Point is situated in Tweed Heads, NSW.
We invite suitably qualified teachers to apply for the following position:
TEACHER
Position Type: Full time temporary
Commencement date: 28 January 2027
Term of Appointment: 2027 school year
Applicants must:
- hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
- have full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA)
- comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
Criteria:
- have a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
- able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community
- understanding of contemporary pedagogy and the ability to differentiate and provide for a diverse range of ability
- a commitment to excellence as a classroom teacher
