Job Description

We're inviting a small, paid cohort of middle and high school teachers to serve as Teacher Product Advocates for Feedback Forward, a tool teachers use to run daily exit tickets.

Over nine weeks, you'll use Feedback Forward with your own students, share feedback that helps us improve the product, and help introduce Feedback Forward to other educators as we launch nationwide.

This is a paid role: $1,300 for an average of about 4 hours per week over 9 weeks.

About Feedback Forward

Feedback Forward is a daily exit ticket platform that helps teachers better understand both student learning and perspective. Alongside content mastery questions, students reflect on their engagement and their experience of class. Teachers can quickly identify who needs attention, and what to adjust before the next class. Feedback Forward is developed by Opportunity Education, a mission-driven nonprofit focused on helping teachers improve instruction and students take greater ownership of their learning. Today, the platform is used daily by teachers and students across our four OE Network schools.

As we expand, we're intentionally partnering with teachers outside our organization to ensure the product continues to reflect authentic classroom needs, and to learn how teachers naturally introduce a useful new tool to their colleagues and professional communities.

Role Details

As a Teacher Product Advocate, you will:

  • Use Feedback Forward in at least two classes per day, at least four days per week, for eight weeks
  • Submit a short weekly survey about your experience
  • Join four one-hour video calls: onboarding, a mid-pilot check-in, an end-of-pilot check-in, and one focused product or marketing feedback session
  • Share candid feedback that directly informs product and marketing decisions
  • Complete one Reach Advocacy activity that meaningfully introduces Feedback Forward to other educators or a school or district leader
  • Complete one Community Advocacy activity that shares your experience with Feedback Forward through your professional network or teacher-created content

We'll work with you during the selection process to choose advocacy activities that make sense for your role and existing network. We're not looking for salespeople or influencers. We're looking for teachers who will use Feedback Forward consistently, give us thoughtful feedback, and authentically share a tool they know firsthand.

Why Participate

You will be paid $1,300 for full participation.

Most pilots ask teachers to try a tool. This one asks you to help shape how it works and how it reaches other teachers. Your participation will directly influence:

  • Product decisions and development priorities
  • Features added to Feedback Forward
  • Messaging and materials for our nationwide launch

Teachers who successfully complete the pilot will also keep free access to the Feedback Forward Premium tier and have the opportunity to participate in our ambassador and paid referral programs after the pilot.

Who Should Apply

To be eligible for this role, you'll need to answer "yes" to these three questions:

  • Do you have administrative or district approval to pilot a new instructional technology tool with students?
  • Are your students in a 1-1 device environment? Students will need a device and an active email to access a Feedback Forward account and submit daily exit tickets.
  • Are you teaching a core subject in grades 5-12?

This is a good fit for teachers who are:

  • Already using exit tickets regularly and are able to incorporate Feedback Forward into their daily classroom routine
  • Willing to introduce a tool they use to colleagues, school leaders, or their broader professional community
  • Able to identify at least one realistic opportunity to share Feedback Forward during the pilot
  • Experience connecting classroom tools through Google Classroom or Clever is a plus.

We are building a small cohort of teachers across regions and school contexts. Space is limited, and selections will be made on a rolling basis.
