
Monsignor Slade Catholic School in Glen Burnie, MD, is seeking a full-time PreK4 Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a 10-month position with benefits eligibility.
Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong instructional skills, a nurturing approach to teaching, and a commitment to the social and academic development of young children. The PreK4 Teacher will plan and implement an instructional program in a Catholic learning environment, supervise students at all times, and provide a safe, developmentally appropriate program in compliance with all state and Archdiocesan policies and procedures.
Essential Functions
● Provides grade-appropriate instructional programs for Early Childhood students that adhere to the school's philosophy, goals, and objectives.
● Develops lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan standards.
● Observe and assess student progress, keep detailed records observing student behavior and progress, and share with parents.
● Communicate in a clear, professional, and timely manner with parents.
● Support the mission of the school and the Catholic church within instructional practices.
Position Qualifications
● Education: high school diploma or GED, though an undergraduate degree is preferred.
● Successful completion of 6 semester hours or 90 clock hours or their equivalent of approved preservice training, or hold the Child Development Associate Credential.
● Minimum 3 years of experience working with children in a child care center or school setting.

Range: $48,000 - $75,000, Annualized
