Horizon School are seeking a Teacher or Instructor at our main school site in Lowestoft, to start as soon as possible.
Horizon School is a two-site Alternative Provision (KS1 - KS4 site and Tier 4 In-patient Youth and Adolescent CAMHS) in North Suffolk. Children come to Horizon School for intervention when they require support in managing their behaviour. This can often be at a point of personal crisis or where their underlying needs have not yet been identified, which are therefore creating a barrier to them accessing mainstream education.
The Role
To implement and deliver the Horizon School mathematics curriculum to years 7-11 and other subjects as specified in the job description which engages and ensures all students can make progress in line with expectations in all subjects.
Horizon School Management Committee value the importance of continuing professional development and will support you with completing any training necessary to fulfil your role and career development.

It is essential that you are skilled at making positive relationships with students, have excellent classroom management skills and have a passion for teaching high-quality lessons.
