$111,798 – $132,585 salary package - includes base salary ($98,499 – $116,813), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

As a Teacher of Nursing at TAFE NSW Ultimo, you'll deliver and assess a range of nursing and healthcare courses, helping students build the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for a successful healthcare career. Joining a vibrant and inclusive team, you will create engaging learning experiences, support students throughout their studies, and ensure training reflects current industry practice. The role also involves building strong relationships with industry providers, along with travel requirements to conduct workplace-based assessments in clinical settings.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and student-focused nursing professional who meets the following Essential Requirements:

  1. Holds a Bachelor of Nursing (minimum) and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  2. Have a minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience in Acute care, gained no longer than five years previously.
  3. Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
  4. Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
