Our school delivers the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) in years 7 to 9, the (I)GCSE in years 10 and 11, after which our students progress to study either the IB Diploma Programme, IB Career-related Programme or a BTEC Vocational and Technical Qualification pathway in years 12 and 13.

We are looking for a Teacher of Mathematics with experience of MYP, IGCSE and IB Diploma courses to replace a teacher on leave. The position is a full-time, short-term contract from 9th March to 25th June, 2026. The role requires the successful candidate to be flexible in teaching whole classes and providing smaller group interventions as needed.

Requirements:

· Bachelor Degree in Mathematics or similar, plus a recognised Postgraduate teaching qualification, or equivalent;

· Ability to teach MYP, IGCSE and IBDP level Mathematics, and experience of the AAHL course will be an advantage;

· Experience and ability to use data on student learning to modify curriculum, teaching and assessment provision;

· Effective interpersonal skills and ability to form positive relationships with students, staff and parents;

· Contribute strongly to the Mathematics Department Professional Learning Teams collaboration which is focused on improving student learning;

· Monitor the impact of teaching strategies through collaborative enquiry and data informed conversations;

· Ability to lead or support extra-curricular activities as part of the whole-school CAS programme and attend school functions as required.
