The High School Attached to Northeast Normal University is located on a leafy campus on the outskirts of Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province, and was founded in 1950. Dipont Education invites applications for a Teacher of English at our Changchun school. This role is suited to a passionate, student-focused educator who understands the importance of language, literature, and academic writing within a high-performing international school environment.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging English lessons across secondary year groups, supporting students’ development in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking, while preparing them for external assessments and future academic study.

We are looking for a teacher who is:
Qualified in English, English Literature, or a related field, with a recognized teaching credential
Experienced teaching English at the secondary school level
Confident delivering a broad English curriculum, including language, literature, and academic writing
Able to engage and challenge high-performing students while supporting a range of abilities
Professional, reliable, and committed to student progress, with at least two years of full-time teaching experience

Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in English language and/or literature, aligned with IBDP English A requirements.
Be a skilled, reflective educator able to engage, challenge, and motivate high-performing secondary students in an inquiry-based learning environment.
Hold a recognized teaching qualification with experience teaching English at secondary school level, ideally within the IBDP framework
Show a proven track record of high-quality teaching, effective curriculum planning, and successful delivery of IB-aligned assessment and learning outcomes
