$111,798 – $132,585 salary package - includes base salary ($98,499 – $116,813), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Early Childhood Education students! Share your skills and passion for your industry, help students build the skills, qualifications, and employability to support their career goals.

As a TAFE NSW Teacher, you will empower students through engaging, learner-centred training delivered across face-to-face, online and blended learning environments. Leveraging your industry knowledge, digital capability and passion for education, you will foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, achievement and lifelong learning, while ensuring training remains current, practical and aligned with industry standards and workforce needs.

This permanent full-time position is based at our Wollongong campus and involves travel between Wollongong, Nowra and Shellharbour. The role also includes regular delivery of virtual evening classes.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will:

  1. Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood, or equivalent.
  2. Have a minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
  3. Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
  4. Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
