Location: Granville Campus

Temporary Part Time until 11 December 2026 (15.75 hours per week)

$111,798 – $132,585 salary package - includes base salary ($98,499 – $116,813), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading paid pro-rata

About the role

The Hair & Beauty section at Granville Campus delivers industry-focused vocational education and training programs across Beauty, Hairdressing and Barbering, preparing students with the practical skills, technical knowledge and professional capabilities required for successful careers in the personal services industry.

This is a temporary part time opportunity, 15.75 hours per week at Granville campus

Due to the delivery requirements of the teaching program and the needs of our student cohort, the successful candidate will be required to teach Monday and Tuesday evening classes from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm as a core component of their regular weekly timetable. These evening classes support flexible study options for students balancing work and other commitments. The remaining hours of this 15.75 hour per week position will be scheduled during standard daytime teaching and related duties.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will:

1. Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Certificate III in Beauty Services or equivalent qualifications.
2. Have a minimum of five years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
3. Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
4. Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
