Job description:

Early Childhood Educator – Help Children Learn and Grow

Make every day a meaningful part of a child's story!

At Otter Learning, we believe early childhood is an important time for discovery, connection, and growth. We're looking for a caring, dependable Teacher who enjoys creating a positive classroom where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

If you're passionate about working with young children and want to grow your skills in early childhood education, we'd love to have you join our team!

What You'll Do

  • Create fun, hands-on learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and developmental growth.
  • Use our play-based curriculum to help children build foundational skills and prepare for kindergarten.
  • Build trusting relationships with children and families through consistent care and communication.
  • Help children develop independence through everyday routines, including meals, bathroom assistance, diapering, and rest time.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom that supports children's safety and well-being.
  • Work closely with fellow educators and school leadership to provide a consistent, high-quality learning experience.
  • Support classroom organization and assist with guiding team members as needed.

What We're Looking For

At least 18 years of age.

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is a plus, but we're happy to consider candidates who are eager to learn.
  • A positive attitude, patience, reliability, and a genuine interest in helping children thrive.

What We Offer

Competitive hourly pay: $12–$15, based on education and experience.

  • Health, dental, vision, life, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance.
  • Paid time off and holidays.
  • Employee referral bonuses.
  • In-house training and opportunities to develop your teaching skills.
  • Tuition discounts for your children.
  • A Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend shifts.

Grow Your Career With Otter Learning

You don't have to have years of classroom experience to make a difference. If you're ready to learn, support young children, and become part of a team that values early education, we encourage you to apply!
