Job Description

St. Philip Neri School, located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, is seeking an Elementary Teacher to provide students with a comprehensive academic experience using the Archdiocesan and State of Maryland curricula for the elementary grades. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, 10-month teaching position for the 2026–2027 school year.

Essential Functions

• Maintains high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Plans and implements instructional programs with clear objectives aligned with the Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of Maryland standards.
• Creates an instructional environment conducive to learning.
• Maintains accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development in a timely manner.
• Communicates standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents through email, phone calls, conferences, and the electronic gradebook.
• Is responsible for the safety and active supervision of students both in and outside the classroom.

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, required.

• MSDE certification or willingness to obtain certification, required.

• Classroom teaching experience, preferred.

• Proficiency in using a variety of technology.

Pay Range: $45,000 - $50,000, Annualized
